About Me

Who runs Norgan Technology?

I’m Nathan Organ. Most people just call me Nath (or Norgan online — that one’s stuck since the dial-up days).

I’ve been working in electronics and IT since 1997 after being headhunted by a school friend into a technician role while studying electrical technology. Since then, I’ve spent over 30 years deep in the guts of systems across:

  • electronics
  • infrastructure
  • cloud
  • automation
  • networking
  • identity and access
  • repair
  • and systems architecture

I grew up through the early internet era:

  • bulletin board systems
  • forums
  • internet radio
  • early mobile computing
  • Windows Mobile and XDA ROM cooking
  • virtual worlds
  • and the transition from analogue systems into the modern connected world

That history shaped how I approach technology today.

I don’t see devices and systems as disposable black boxes. I see layered systems that should be understandable, repairable, maintainable, and built to serve the humans using them.

What wires me differently

I’m neurodivergent (ASD Level 1 + ADHD combined), which means my brain tends to naturally gravitate toward:

  • pattern recognition
  • systems thinking
  • diagnostics
  • optimisation
  • and tracing failure paths

Where others see chaos, I usually start seeing structure.

That applies whether I’m:

  • repairing a motherboard
  • diagnosing infrastructure
  • simplifying workflows
  • or untangling years of accumulated technical debt

What I actually do

Norgan Technology focuses on:

  • board-level electronics repair
  • laptop and PC repair
  • diagnostics
  • microsoldering
  • networking
  • systems advisory
  • automation
  • and practical problem solving

The goal is simple:

Signal over noise. Repair over replacement.

Home users get practical support without condescension.
Small businesses get systems that scale without unnecessary complexity.
Enthusiasts get someone who actually understands the deeper layers beneath the polished interface.

Beyond the workshop

Outside the workshop, I’m also writing Conquests of the Impossible — a philosophical field guide exploring systems, neurodivergence, agency, and modern technological life.

I also spend far too much time tinkering with:

  • 3D printing
  • laser systems
  • homelabs
  • automation
  • retro technology
  • music
  • and whatever strange gadget catches my attention next

I’m also a father, which keeps everything grounded pretty quickly.

No corporate mission statements here.

Just this:
technology should serve humans, not the other way around.

If your setup feels like a bad sci-fi plot where the machines are winning, let’s talk.

Let’s make the impossible boringly possible.
